Funeral services for Sue Beech, 79, of Grapevine, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Miracle Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Carrollton with Rev. Jerry Burns officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
She passed away early Monday morning, March 31, 2014 in Grapevine.
Sue was born January 9, 1935 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of August Herman Esch and Minnie Vee Piper Esch. She was raised in the Dallas area where she attended high school. She married Utah Samuel Burton and he preceded her in death. Later on November 20, 1969 she married Fred Beech in Grapevine. Sue was employed as a school bus driver for Grapevine/Colleyville I.S.D., retiring in 2001. She enjoyed reading her Bible and attending church. Sue loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Miracle Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Carrollton.
Preceded in death by her parents, A. H. Esch & Minnie Vee Esch; 2 husbands, Utah Samuel "Bud" Burton and Fred Beech; sister, Opal Cantrell and a grandson, Johnny Risley.
Sue is survived by five sons, Danny Risley & wife, Cheryl, of Edmond, Oklahoma, Billy Risley, of Huntsville, David Burton, of Palmer, Steve Burton, of Dallas and Ray Beech, of Grapevine; three daughters, Mary Sue Risley Smith & husband, Barry, of Palmer, Debbie Burton Boyd, of Euless and Shanda Beech, of Grapevine; sister, Vauda Rae Pickens & husband, Don, of Wills Point; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service.
