Cleta Teehee Oggier, 80, devoted mother, workaholic, Dallas Cowboys fan, one-armed bandit player and Coca-cola lover, died Tuesday, January 26th from complications associated with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Life began as a country girl in a Oklahoma farming community who was nicknamed “Tiny”. At the age of 11, she became an Oklahoma City girl where she graduated from Central High School. Cleta began her career in the real estate title business in Oklahoma City at age 18, later moving to Dallas-Ft. Worth to continue her successful career. Failing health forced her recent return to Oklahoma City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oris and Clellie Watkins; son, Tommy Teehee; sister, Fern Morgan; brothers, Benny and Coy Watkins; and brother-in-law/surrogate father, Paul Sutton. She is survived by sons, Stephen and Travis Teehee; her sister mom, Lois Sutton; sisters, Mary Perdue and Hazel Mealor; brother, Larry Watkins; grandchildren, Allen and Toria Teehee; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks go to Jeff Davis and Ollie Watkins for their assistance with her move to Oklahoma. We also thank her caregivers at St. Anthony Hospital, Grace Living Center, and Frontier Hospice. A private memorial service will be held in Oklahoma City and burial will be in Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington, TX.
